Candle’s Christmas Chair by Jude Knight
When
Viscount Avery comes to see an invalid chair maker, he does not expect to find
Min Bradshaw, the woman who rejected him 3 years earlier. Or did she? He
wonders if there is more to the story. For 3 years, Min Bradshaw has remembered
the handsome guardsman who courted her for her fortune. She didn't expect to
see him in her workshop, and she certainly doesn't intend to let him fool her
again.

Vikki’s Musings
I purchased this book on a
recommend from another great lover of books. This is a very sweet romance, just
right for the Christmas season, and it is sure to brighten the after the
holidays blues so many of us may feel as well. It is very vanilla, but still quite
enjoyable and very well-written for the most part. Min and Ran (Candle,
nicknamed because he has bright red hair) are a great couple, and I enjoyed their
love story.
Minerva Bradshaw makes invalid chairs for her father’s Saddlery. Viscount Avery’s mother was gravely injured in a carriage accident that took the life of his father. He approaches Min and requests that she make a special chair for his mother.

Lord Avery is immediately
smitten with Min. She feels she is too far below Randall, but he refuses to
take no for an answer. He sends her flowers and notes every day while she makes
his mother’s chair. Will he be able to gain his heart's desire in time for
Christmas, or will Min deny her heart instead?
This is a short review for a short novella. If you enjoy sweet, clean Christmas stories that warm your heart, then this is one that you will not want to miss. Happy reading!
