With his smooth talk, rugged good looks, and deep pockets, native Texan Boone McBride appears to be a man who has it all. Few people know about the heartbreak behind his decision to leave home, family, and career for the isolation of a small town in the Colorado Rockies. Luckily, time and life in Eternity Springs has worked its healing magic upon his wounded soul, so when he meets obviously troubled Hannah Dupree, Boone sees a chance to pay his good fortune forward. The last thing he anticipates is tumbling into love.

Tragedy has taken everything Hannah loves, and her will to keep going is failing. So when Boone strides into her life determined to save her, it’s easier to go along with him than to resist. Soon she is drawn into the fabric of life in Eternity Springs, and as her spirit begins to heal, her strength returns, and she’s able to go toe-to-toe with this hardheaded, big-hearted Texan. But just when love blooms and happiness is within their grasp, shadows from the past threaten. Hannah and Boone must stand strong and united in order to defeat old ghosts—if they are to create a brand-new life together.

Vikki’s Musings

Thanks go to the publisher and Net-Galley for a complimentary copy of Boone: Eternity Springs by Emily March. I voluntarily agreed to read and review this novel prior to publication. My opinions are my own, and no one has influenced them.

Boone: Eternity Springs is a great addition to The McBrides of Texas series. The pacing kept me engaged from the first page to the last. The book is well written with engaging characters and a plot that will touch your heart.

Hannah Dupree’s character is such a tortured soul with personal losses few can handle, but she is determined to do it. While taking a cleansing journey, she stumbles upon the enchanting town of Eternity Springs. She feels it’s a place of solace, a place where she can heal.

Boone McBride is a compelling hero who hides his pain behind his smooth-talking ways and astonishing good looks. When he accepts custody for an infant from a young woman he believes he failed, he’s determined to be the best father possible. Although he has a lot of complications in his life, he can’t resist Hannah. In her, he senses another wounded soul, and he wants to help her find peace.

The romance between Hannah and Boone is lovely. Since both of them are recovering from their troubled past, they fit together from the beginning, and I truly wanted them to find their happy ending.

If you enjoy contemporary romance that has a character-driven plot with the amazing characters from the Eternity Springs series, then you will love Boone as much as I did. While this can easily be read as a stand-alone novel, I encourage you to read Ms. March’s Eternity Springs series. It’s amazing. Happy reading!

Vikki’s Musings

Thanks go to the publishing and Net-Galley for the chance to read and review Tucker Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas by Emily March before publication. My opinions are my own, and no one has influenced them in any way.

I recently found Emily March’s Eternity Springs series, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I immediately snagged Tucker when I found it on Net-Galley. As with the other books, Tucker pulled me in from the first page and held me engaged until the last page. The pacing is steady and worked well for this story. I loved the McBrides in Texas as much as the characters in Eternity Springs.

Gillian Thacker’s character has a good deal of depth, making her a compelling character. She’s independent and wants her new business venture to succeed. I never liked her fiancée from the start, so I was glad when their engagement ended. I felt her anger and frustration over how it dissolved though.

Tucker McBride is a great hero with many facets to his character. He had a career as a U.S. Army Ranger and was smart enough to realize when it was time to leave. He still suffers from what happened while a ranger, but his determination to move beyond it is inspiring. Although attracted to Gillian, he keeps his distance until she breaks off her engagement. Then he pursues her, determined to win her heart.

I thoroughly enjoyed the romance between Gillian and Tucker. It’s clear from their first meeting they are perfect for each other. He’s so patient with Gillian and accepts she needs time to trust her feelings after her breakup. They captivated me, and I was so pleased they found their way to each other.

If you enjoy romance with a character-driven plot and touching base with past characters from the Eternity Springs series, then you will love Tucker as much as I did. While this can easily be read as a stand-alone novel, I encourage you to read Ms. March’s Eternity series. It’s amazing. Happy reading!
